Cartoon tattoos are relatively common for many reasons. For some of us, the older ones anyway, cartoons represent a Saturday morning spent in front of a TV watching the cartoons. This was an enormous feat in earlier days, before cable, when cartoons would only be shown early Saturday mornings and if we were real lucky they would play Charlie Browns holiday specials during a time in the evening while we were still conscious. For some, tattoos just represent whimsical ideas and personalities and that alone is enough for some people to get inked. Personally, I am a Yosemite Sam but I doubt I’ll ever have him inked.

Bart Simpson is definitely high in demand in tattoo studios where cartoons are concerned. He likely represents the mischevious boy a lot of you guys were growing up!
Ahh and there is Sam now. Loved him, he just never put up with any crap did he? Didn’t even allow the opportunity for crap to occur!

Jessica Rabbit is also a common tattoo. But she is not one of the originals, so other then the great artwork on this piece, I refuse to give her credit as a hardworking long time cartoon character.
Mickey is definately a hard working long time cartoon character. And I bet if studies were done, he is likely the most tattooed cartoon ever.
Pretty spiffy Spiderman in my opinion!
Marvin! Ahh! Second only to Yosemite Sam himself. Great tattoo!
So while I have shown plenty of cartoon tattoos here there are still so many others left unspoken for. Do you have a cartoon, or even a comic book tattoo? Email it to me so I can show it off here!
