Well there are absolutely some tattoos that just seem to be ladies only kind of ink. And often its not just the ink, but the placement, and no I don’t mean those places. I just mean that there are some places and designs common to women that most men wouldn’t have inked on them. Let’s take a look at what I mean!
Foot tattoos are commonly female. Although I’ve seen men with tattoos on their feet it was usually an extension of a full leg tattoo.
Lower back tattoos are also very common to women and very rare for men unless part of a larger piece.
The back of the neck is also a place tattoo artist are commonly asked to ink women.
The ole bum. The buttocks are also a common place that women are tattooed but men rarely are.
The upper back and my personal choice for a large piece as well!
And last but not least we know that ladies are famous for putting their ink on their girls!

Pin up girls have been a very long time popular iconic tattoo. In recent years women have been just as fanatic about them as the men who love to look at them!
Some women shy away from the more feminine tattoos but there are many great reasons to take notice of them these days. Artist have begun to differentiate between areas specifically great spots for men to get inked and have apparently found some more innovative ways to ink women that can help accentuate many features. A few of my favorite feminine tattoos are below. This may be considered rated R to some I suppose.
The shoulder and the top of the arm. This is NOT the bicep tattoo. This is BETTER. I won’t say all, or even most, but a good amount of women would agree with me that the top of the shoulder is a very sensual place for a man OR a woman!
