So it has become common for celebrities to sport their own skin ink in the last 20 years. Something I of course, was happy to see slowly become more acceptable over the past few years. So for the sake of getting to the point, lets get to the point with some fairly private information on some lesser known celebrity tattoos!
Allen Iverson
Allen has several tattoos. From his early beginnings where he was seen to sport at least one piece of skin art, his collection has definitely grown and quickly. At one point Iverson explained to an interviewer that his tattoo of the head of a soldier represented his harsh early beginnings in life and his battle to reach beyond that. He attributes the likeness of a soldier to himself for making it alive and safe to stardom.
Johnny Depp
Johnny Depp has 13 tattoos total. Each and everyone of them of course has deep meaning to him. Johnny who is known to be an introspective actor who does not covet celebrity status OR being called the sexiest man alive, several times! Johnny has several tattoos including his daughters name, Lily-Rose tattooed right above his heart.
Nicole Richie
Well as much as I love to enjoy watching starlets screw up (don’t kill me for saying it just because you won’t!) I must say I have enjoyed watching Nicole Richie straighten her mess of a life up, and pronto. She seems to have grasped the concept of adulthood and motherhood as well as some pretty fine taste in Skin art. Nicole is thought to have 9 and a half (?) tattoos! With a rosary on her left ankle and foot as well as some tiny delicate angel wings on her back. She seems to have taken the soft approach with her skin art as well.
With many celebrities these days having no fear in adorning themselves with their own personal skin art, I continue to look forward to some of the best creations money can buy!

This star chest tattoo is hard not to look at, but I’m not quite sure if I consider it art or not. There are definitely a lot of things coming right at you, like the design, the colors and the placement, but I’m not sure if it all comes together successfully…

Sometimes you see a tattoo that you just know the person will question later in their lives. Here are two star tattoos that I thought might fall into this category. Let me know which one you think is more regrettable of the two.

Sometimes you have to admire great artwork. The stars for this Cherub and Stars Tattoo are an interesting touch. Almost hints at being patriotic the way they are aligned. Very impressive in the shading and design of this full sleeve star tattoo though.

What’s the conversation like when asking for a star tattoo like this one?
“I’m thinking about getting a star tattoo.”
“Alright, just a normal one?”
“Yea, with pink leopard spots in the middle and purple things shooting out from the edges.”
“Done.”

I can’t imagine a girl getting a tattoo on her chest and not wanting attention, but it brings about the interesting question of, “is it appropriate to stare at a girl’s chest if there is a tattoo on it?” My question is does the placement of this star tattoo make it a better tattoo then it really is?

Which one of these 2 star shoulder tattoos do you like more? I know which one I’m picking. They both have an unusually loud style to them, sure to catch the attention of anyone around.
Do you consider either of these art?

Do you like this one more then the previous shoulder star tattoo?

Girls and star tattoos seem to have a pretty good thing going. Visually they just seem to fit. Doesn’t seem to be the most thought provoking tattoos, and most probably don’t have a lot of meaning behind them, none the less, a popular tattoo that will be around for ages.

There’s something real about this yin yang tattoo. It’s a good combination of a lot of good things. It’s not too small, not too big, not too busy, but just enough, it gives you something to think about, but also something interesting to look at. All and all a pretty sweet back tattoo.
